Great run completed today! . Training plan said 75mins so I kept to it, well 76 to get home 😁 but could have carried on at same pace. Went faster than I should have but I felt great as soon as I went out so I decided to push a bit. Legs were still heavy from a long week but felt strong and I'm actually surprised how comfortable I felt. Wasn't easy but comfortable. Its also a bonus how consistent my pace was (see on second picture). Training starting to show in results 👏👌 . Tough run this morning. . It's been a long week all round and I felt it this morning. Heavy legs, out of required pace BUT I still felt confortable as I just took foot of the gas and tried to enjoy the run instead which I did, although I was pleased when finished! Will always get the job done though 🙏 . For all kind of reasons, not all training sessions go well but those make you stronger in the long term. Just need to remind ourselves that when it happens. Here you go, I just have 😁 . First race of 2019. Winchester 10k the 24th February. . Well.... 60min run turned into a 40mins due to lack of time. Missed the first alarm! 🙄 That means a quick 20mins run after work to catch up 😁 . Nice easy pace early morning run nonetheless although legs felt heavy but lunchtime swim next which should help. Got to push on when needed 💪 Love running early mornings, hardly anybody out apart from the odd delivery and bin lorries when going through town. New week, new training goals. . #Outlaw2019 140.3 training plan week 7 . This week will be a great test to the body as training increases to 9h30. After a long weekend of birthday celebrations and celebrations rest 😁 it's time to hit the road again. Had a great Strengh workout Saturday but I didn't do yesterday's run. Although I didn't run yesterday, I'm keeping today as rest day. Got to keep to the plan. If one sesh is missed, don't change the plan around and play catch up, just move on to the next sesh. .
